Returns & Exchange Policy

30-Day Returns

We proudly offer 30-day returns from the date of purchase because we want your online shopping experience to feel simple and fair.

To be eligible for a return, exchange, refund, or store credit, items must:

  • Be returned within 30 days of purchase.
  • Be accompanied by valid proof of purchase.
  • Be unworn and unused (other than trying the item on).
  • Be in original condition.
  • Be free from stains, marks, makeup, fake tan, pet hair, odours, or any signs of wear.
  • Have all original tags attached.Include original packaging where reasonably possible.

If an item arrives damaged or faulty*, please contact us at hello@onshoreco.com.au as soon as possible so we can resolve it.


Return Outcomes

What you’re eligible for depends on the type of item purchased:

Full-Price Items

Full-price items are eligible for:

  • Refund to original payment method
  • Exchange for a different size (subject to availability)
  • Exchange for another product
  • Store credit

Sale, Discounted & Promotional Items

Sale items include any discounted, promotional, clearance, sample, seconds, or items sold with disclosed defects.

These items are eligible for:

  • Store credit only


Faulty, Damaged or Incorrect Items

If your item is faulty*, damaged in transit, or you received the wrong item, we will offer:

  • Refund or replacement (where available)
  • Return shipping covered by us

Original shipping costs will also be refunded where applicable under Australian Consumer Law.

 

What IS Considered Faulty*

An item may be considered faulty if, upon arrival, it has issues such as:

  • Broken or non-functioning zippers, buttons, snaps, buckles, or fasteners
  • Incorrect stitching or failed seams
  • Loose stitching that causes the garment to come apart under normal use
  • Fabric flaws, holes, pulls, or defects
  • Significant printing, embroidery, or logo defects
  • Incorrectly attached labels or components affecting normal use
  • The wrong size, colour, or style supplied compared to your order

What is NOT Considered Faulty*

  • Change of mind
  • Incorrect size selection (customer must always refer to size chart provided in product images and description)
  • General wear and tear
  • Damage caused by misuse or accidents
  • Damage from improper washing, drying, storage, or care (customer must always follow the product care instructions provided in product description, on Tee labels and in packaging).
  • Fading from sun, washing, saltwater, chlorine, or regular use
  • Snags, pulls, tears, or holes caused during wear or external contact (e.g. jewellery, surfboards, Velcro, pets, sharp objects)
  • Minor colour variation due to lighting, screen differences, or production batches

 

Return Shipping

Customers are responsible for return shipping costs unless the item is:

  • Faulty*
  • Damaged upon arrival
  • Incorrect (wrong item sent)

If the issue is our fault, we will cover the cost of return shipping and resolution.

Original shipping costs are non-refundable.

 

Our Returns Process

We keep returns as straightforward as possible:

  1. Lodge your return request with your order number and photos of the item to hello@onshoreco.com.au
  2. We’ll review and pre-approve your return before you send anything back
  3. Once approved, we’ll provide return instructions
  4. When your item arrives, we’ll do a quick check against your request and process your outcome

We aim to keep this process fast, fair, and authentic.
